A compact urban pocket park that translates resident needs into spaces for movement, gathering, greenery and everyday community life.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
This project proposes a pocket park of approximately 1,500 square metres in an urban residential context. Site analysis identified limited usable public space, few activity opportunities and an environment that was difficult for residents to access and enjoy.
The design combines movement, gathering, planting and everyday community activities in a compact public space. The work progressed from site and resident analysis to problem definition, concept development, spatial planning, modelling and final visualisation.
