ABOUT THE PROJECT

Plantive is an individual graduation design concept: a proposed digital–physical system with a prototype process and a final design outcome. It connects a modular community garden with a mobile application so residents can learn seasonal knowledge, monitor plant conditions, join shared tasks and build confidence through repeated participation.

The project was developed through stakeholder mapping, STEEP analysis, secondary and precedent research, personas, customer journey mapping, systemic design, concept development, storyboarding and reflective evaluation. The research suggested that information alone does not sustain engagement; ecological knowledge, social interaction and timely environmental feedback need to reinforce one another.

The current outcome is a concept and prototype process, not a built or commercially launched project. Pilot testing is recorded as a future validation step rather than completed public user testing.
